Water and air are our Earth's most precious gifts.
"When the last tree has been felled and the last river polluted -
only then will mankind realise that money is inedible."
Today, with our precious reserves of water being used and polluted in so
many ways, this saying is truer than ever.
To safeguard our future and that of our descendants, we must act now to
keep our water and our air clean.
The recently promulgated international standards are a step in the right
direction. These stipulate a maximum hydrocarbon content of less than 5
mg/ltr in the run-off.
Oil separators designed to meet such requirements purify the run-off of
light fluids (such as various types of petrol, heating and diesel oils,
filter oils and other mineral oils) to DIN 1999 and EN 858 respectively.
These separators are used wherever such light fluids may be present in
the run-off e.g. in the drainage system of car parks, garages, petrol
stations, workshops, car washes, etc.
